    Welcome to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish

    A welcoming, multicultural Catholic community in San Jose, California.

    We are a community of faith that, since its beginnings as Mission Guadalupe in 1953, has accompanied the families of east San Jose on their spiritual journey. Over the years, our parish has been a place of prayer, encounter, service and celebration of the sacraments.

    Inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe, we open our doors to everyone with joy, hope and Christian love. Here every person can feel welcomed, accompanied and part of a parish family walking together toward Christ.

    Celebrating Our Faith as a Community

    Throughout the year, Our Lady of Guadalupe brings the community together to celebrate the most important moments of our Catholic faith. These celebrations invite us to pray, to grow together, and to encounter Christ through the beauty of our liturgy and our traditions.

    Special Celebrations and Liturgies

    We accompany our families in important moments of life, such as Quinceañeras, Memorial Masses and Funerals, with prayer, pastoral guidance and Christian hope.

    Sacraments

    The sacraments are visible signs of God’s grace. Through them, Christ strengthens us, accompanies us and invites us to live our faith in community.

    Our mission is to open the doors so that every person may encounter the love of Jesus Christ. As a family of faith, inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe, we welcome everyone with joy, celebrate the sacraments with devotion, and walk together, serving God and our neighbor with hearts full of hope.
